Truly custom professional, performance enhancing designs to help you look and perform your best. All my items are designed with the individual wearing them in mind; your measurments, your music, the way you move, if you will be interacting with a partner, as well as your indivudual style. As a former instuctor, choreogropher, and performer myself, I construct each custom piece with the goal of maximizing comfort and functionality during your performance while preserving the beauty of the design, so that you can do what you do you best, in the best way possible.
CUSTOM BALLET & DANCE COSTUMESFrom competition ballet costuming
to full length ballet productions,
we can take care of your custom costume needs. Custom classical tutus generally start at about $850.
Most YAGP level tutus end up between $900-1000. Romantic tutus start at about $650 for YAGP.
Peasant style tutus are a bit more. Kitri's tavern dress, from Don Quixote,
usually around $900-1100.
CUSTOM FIGURE SKATING COSTUMESCustom skating dresses start at $400 and can go up quickly from there, depending on the design details and the number of rhinestones added to the costume after it's constructed. Many of my customers will save some labor costs by applying their own rhinestones or I can arrange to work with the customer to decorate the costume together.I don't mass produce skate costumes. I don't repeat designs. I will not compete, pricewise, with companies who use the same design again and again, only in different colors. That's not who I am.
I usually will not sew for skaters who cannot come in for at least one fitting in person.Boys'/Men's costumes also start at about $400. Occasionally, something very simple will cost less.
CUSTOM BALLROOM COSTUMESBallroom costumes for the ladies, before rhinestones, can start anywhere from a low of about $400 for a Latin dress to close to $1000 for a gown. Rhinestones are additional and can drive the price up quickly. Many customers prefer to apply their own, with my guidance.
